We’re here to do good

Where mindful creativity meets mindful movement, for the ultimate grounding experience.

Flow and Throw is a place where community, creativity, and wellness come together. Through breath, clay, and shared meals, we help you find your grounding, embrace your flow, and connect with others through combined practices.

Our bodies are in constant motion - a pace of energy, breath, and change.

To find grounding is not about halting the flow, but about noticing it, seeing and feeling the steady harmony connected to each movement. Through yoga and pottery, we create spaces where grounding and flow coexist, helping you reconnect with yourself and the world around you.

In our yoga practice, breath becomes our anchor. Each inhale brings us deeper into the present, and with each exhale, we release what no longer serves us. At the pottery wheel, grounding takes shape in the clay - soft, responsive, full of possibility. Our hands connect with the earth, shaping something tangible, something real with all its beautiful imperfections.

Flow and Throw is funded by the Big Issue Invest and is a community Interest company, with a social mission to share holistic wellbeing to those in need.

Our founder

Flow and Throw is the brain-child of Mercedes Jaskolka.

A personal journey of self-discovery, amid mental health struggles led her to find peace, harmony and balance in pottery and yoga.

It felt too good to stop and too strong not to share.

Mercedes is a 200hr qualified yoga teacher and self-taught ceramicist, instructing taster sessions and pottery courses at Ceramics Classes London.

In her life before Flow and Throw, she held digital and partnerships roles at global media agencies, and has a BA in Modern Languages (French and ab initio Russian) from University College London.
